Live classical & Jazz piano including Fryderyk Chopin music by Michal Sobkowiak

Born in an artistic family in Poland, Michal Sobkowiak is one of the most vibrant Polish pianist who not only performs but composes in his own distinct "Sobkowiak style": one of the most well-achieved compositions being the compilations of "Ikebana". He made his debut in the TV programme "Akademia muzyczna" series as the most talented 10 year old, immediately winning a huge admiration from public. Even before graduating the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw (1998), his musical ability and skills of playing was already so advanced as to allow him to participate in series of concerts at major concert halls in Poland, such as the prestigious National Philharmonic Hall. He has taken part in numerous international festivals over the years, and his postgraduate studies at the Zurich Conservatory was followed by a quick entering into the professional world of piano performance and education in Japan, where he enjoys a special recognition as the performer, but also as a dedicated teacher. He is currently the Associate Professor at the Fukushima College, and a regular Lecturer at the Shobi College of Music, Tokyo.
